Top Tennis Bracelets of 2025

Once reserved for milestone moments and lavish gifts, the best tennis bracelets have evolved into sophisticated pieces of everyday jewelry. Propelled in part by trends such as quiet luxury and tenniscore, the tennis bracelet is no longer just a status symbol confined to special occasions only. Now a modern jewelry staple that can be dressed up or down, a diamond tennis bracelet can be a key accoutrement in your curation of personal jewelry and a style signature for your wrist.

Trending TikTok aesthetics aren’t the only reason tennis bracelets have recently seen a major resurgence, though. Contemporary jewelry brands are reimagining the classic tennis bracelet with lab-grown diamonds, vibrant gemstone alternatives, and recycled metals, bringing more affordable options to the forefront so shoppers can access the iconic jewelry piece without a huge financial commitment. You no longer have to spend several months of rent to own a tennis bracelet — with many brands now offering quality options under $500.

Along with more shopping options than ever, celebrities, fashion insiders, and style influencers alike have solidified the styling versatility of today’s tennis bracelets. We’ve seen stars like Hailey Bieber opt for diamond alternatives, while Taylor Swift and Lenny Kravitz have shown us exactly how versatile tennis bracelets are to wear, teaming them with baggy jeans and tanks rather than ballgowns and tailored suits. Whether you choose to let your tennis bracelet shine on its own or stack it with other bracelets, the sparkling wrist candy has all the range of a modern staple.

We’ve scoured the internet for the best tennis bracelets, so whether you’re just beginning to invest in timeless jewelry or looking for a special present that will last for seasons to come, you’ll find a tennis bracelet gift for women, whether it’s a present for your wife or a Mother’s Day gift, or something to add to your own collection.

In collaboration with Chris Evert, the woman who started the tennis bracelet phenomenon, this sparkler is made with European cut rock crystal, white sapphire, and green tsavorite. Each of the stones were carefully selected to honor Evert’s memory of the 1987 US Open match when her diamond bracelet went flying mid-point — that green tsavorite harkens back to the color of the court, while a pear-shaped sapphire nods to the “dripping sweat of competition.” It’s ideal for tennis fanatics or those who want a unique tennis bracelet that’s full of hidden meaning.

  • Setting type: If you’re looking for something to complement your engagement ring or want to test out a mix of setting styles, a tennis bracelet is a perfect place to experiment. Traditional tennis bracelets are pronged, but others, like the bezel setting are making their way into the mainstream.
  • Metal: Often available in 14k gold or platinum, 14k gold is a more durable option, especially if you plan to wear your bracelet daily or during more intensive activities. Platinum often will cost more, and any gold-plated ones skew toward fashion pieces due to the fact that they are thinly plated above the base metal, often tarnishing faster than gold or platinum.
  • Stone type: Similar to setting type, stone type is important in deciding what tennis bracelet to pick from, and can often be the largest factor in pricing, aside from which metal you’ve chosen. As a trend in jewelry, many designers have moved away from natural diamonds due to ethnical issues to working in the lab-grown space. Aside from diamonds, stones often found in tennis bracelets are white sapphires, which are super durable, cubic zirconia, often found in costume jewelry and an affordable alternative and crystals, which are known for their sparkle.
  • Carat weight: Carat weight, especially for diamonds, determines a variety of factors in your purchase and functionality — a larger carat total weight, or CTW, will make the bracelet less fluid and more eye-catching, and a smaller carat is more ideal for everyday wear. CTW, or carat total weight, is how tennis bracelet diamonds are measured. In short, they’re measured based on their combined weight of all the diamonds. Separately, other diamond pieces, where a diamond may be standalone, like an engagement ring, weights the individual diamond.

The History of Tennis Bracelets

Tennis bracelets, formally called eternity bracelets, have been popular since the 1920s. Bright Young Things often wore stacked, minimalist accessories to add sparkle and shine to the wearer during the period when Art Deco-inspired jewelry took center stage in earrings, brooches, and necklaces. Variations of the eternity bracelet, often oversized and set with different stones, were seen on the wrists of debutantes the press breathlessly reported on. From the original “celebutante” Brenda Duff Frazier to the “poor little rich girl” Barbara Hutton, these bracelets were often oversized and accompanied them to parties and society events.

Nearly forty years later, eternity bracelets were launched from mere accessories to icon status arm candy during the 1987 US Open when tennis player Chris Evert, known for her stylish on-court attire, lost her bracelet mid-point. She insisted the match be stopped while she looked for the bracelet. Many jewelry enthusiasts have disputed that this singular event was the catalyst for calling these diamond pieces tennis bracelets, but whatever the case is, the name has stuck.
