The moment you’ve been waiting for has finally arrived: Just like last year, French perfumer Diptyque launched a Valentine’s Day candle duo featuring two bestselling scents, and 2025’s design looks chicer than ever.
Last February, viral TikTok unboxing videos of the Diptyque Valentine’s Day limited-edition candles reached a fever pitch — not only expressing appreciation for (and, dare we say, obsession over) the candles’ heart-shaped design in cherry red and sandy pink but also their divine smell.
Presently, TikTok users are also jumping at the opportunity to film their V-Day candles from Diptyque in tranquil bedroom settings, with comments expressing the sentiment that this is just the sign users needed to finally buy their own. In 2025, like in the year prior, the duo’s scents are Baies and Roses. While the former is meant to evoke fresh-picked blackcurrant berries with a subtle touch of rose, the latter is a full-on rose moment — reminiscent of dew-embellished petals on a spring day in May. Both, in other words, are an antidote to the bitter winter cold many of us are experiencing as we speak.
Diptyque’s Baies and Roses Duo for Valentine’s Day 2025 stands out via sheer looks. Its previous iteration boasted a clear vessel, but now customers are treated to red and pink lacquered glass. The labels are, once again, heart-shaped and thus perfectly fitting for the upcoming celebrations. What’s more, the graphics on the candles’ boxes form yet another heart when placed side by side. The romantics motifs here are just endless.
Each candle in the set has a burn time of about 50 hours (if you aren’t quite catching the aroma upon initially lighting up, wait 20 minutes for the most optimal effect). Given the fact that these aren’t three-wick selections, the candles are best suited for small- to medium-sized spaces.
Burn them separately, and you’ll get to enjoy each scent’s distinctions; burning them together, though, offers the chance to experience a delicate mingling of the fruity and the floral, as if you’re walking through a wild garden marked by notes of tanginess, sweetness, and even a bit of spice. If we haven’t been clear yet on this front, the Diptyque Valentine’s Day–Edition Baies and Roses Duo is giftable to the max — perfect as a romantic treat for your S.O., pegged to the day of love, or as a token of appreciation for the woman in your life on any occasion.
We highly recommend shopping ASAP: If history is any indication, this precious set will sell out very soon, and then you’ll be left waiting for next year.
